In this BrandSquare Live Session, Kathryn Sloane, Director of Business Development & Growth, Asia Pacific for Anthem Worldwide and Schawk Singapore Office, and Spencer Ball, Creative Director, Anthem Worldwide Singapore Office, examined the strategies used to connect with a rising consumer class in both India and China.
## About Kathryn Sloane: ##
Kathryn leads the business development team and is responsible for driving growth for the APAC region. Hailing from Melbourne, Kathryn has lived and worked in various parts of the world including Sydney, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Kathryn has more than 15 years experience (6 of those in Asia) in brand consultancy and business development, for clients such as Cavinkare, China Light & Power, Diageo, General Mills, Hindustan Lever, ITC, Kaleesuwari, Philips, Tesco China, Watsons and Unilever. She is an active member of the marketing community, working closely with the Design Business Association and the Britcham Marketing Committee. Prior to joining at Anthem & Schawk, Kathryn worked with Pearlfisher and Design Bridge.
## About Spencer Ball: ##
Armed with over 20 years experience working with global, regional and local brands across Asia, Spencer leads the Anthem team from their regional headquarters in Singapore. Spencer has headed retail branding, packaging design and corporate identity projects for the likes of Bridge Alliance, Cavinkare, Tesco China, Kaleesuwari, Timberland, Watsons, Wrigley, Kodak, Videocon and Unilever.
Prior to joining Anthem, Spencer was Creative Director at Interbrand and before that he was with Fitch in Singapore, where he established himself in the creative and design industry in Asia. Spencer’s favorite past-time is trawling the streets of China and India for fresh designs and ideas.
